Cardfight!! Vanguard is a Japanese trading card game, manga series, anime television series, and film that involves creating a deck of cards to battle an opponent: 
Gameplay
Players create a deck of 50 cards and take turns attacking and defending. The card placed on the vanguard circle is the player's avatar, and stacking higher grade cards on it makes it more powerful. Players can deal damage to their opponent if their attacker's power is equal to or higher than the opponent's vanguard. A player wins if they deal 6 points of damage to the opponent's vanguard or if the opponent's deck runs out. 
Abilities
Players can use various abilities to gain an advantage in the game. For example, players can activate an ability by turning a specified number of cards in their damage zone face down, or by putting a specified number of cards from their soul into the drop zone.
